We’ll be hitting the trails on Old Mystic Ridge, 26-acres of woods, tucked away in the quiet corner of Mystic – Old Mystic. Come get away from the hustle & bustle of downtown and visit this quiet oasis of natural history.
We’ll explore unusual & unexpected scenery: spectacular iconic ledges, historic stonewalls, glacial erratics, a small abandoned quarry and two footbridges, as well as seasonal streams rich with surrounding woodland birds, butterflies, dragonflies, wildflowers, ferns and other plants.
Naturalist and environmental photographer, Bruce Fellman, will lead this one-mile-plus tour.
